The way overdone topic
You can get mad at me if you so desire. This topic has been said too many times to keep track of but i'm going to say it again. I just came back from playing D2 LOD (blasphemer that i am, i know). I've been playing it because of one reason. D2 LOD has soooooooo many different types of weapons, armors and just sooo many items in the game. Now i realise that GW kinda has to be limited with all that stuff, and the addition of locked chests and green items is kinda nice and a good start. But i hope in the second chapter whenever it's comming out, that there'll be a whole lot... and i mean a whole lot more stuff along those lines. I'm sorry but gw just isn't entertaining anymore to me when i've beaten the game 3 times, find bad pvp teams all the time and just in general am not having fun anymore due to the limited amount of ways to create a character and equip him or her. (oh yeah, more skills plz). Anywho. I'll probbably get heckled to no end for this, but i'm saying this again and probbably for the last time.

Not heckling but ANet has said about a billion times that it's not about so-called uber weapons and armor. It's about skill and combining your skill with the skills of others to either a) beat monsters up or b) beat other teams up.
NOW...I think it would be neat to have different looks and such but they aren't going to give "set" enhancements for wearing a complete set of something and stuff like that. When I need that kind of game, I, like you, return to D2: LoD or I go play Dungeon Siege II where I can uncover uber stuff in about 2 1/2 minutes of play.

Yeah, if we had more different looking items and stuff, I'd like this game more. Maybe adding stuff that does nothing for anything, and is like having furniture in your guild hall or something or unlocking walk emotes or lay down emotes or something.

I think, if GW wanted to have something to grind for, they should add more skills to the game at a faster rate. They should also make worthless skills more useful.
Think about it - take an axe warrior. There's only one way to play an axe warrior. The only variation are the 2-3 free skill slots you might have to take skills from your secondary.
And since the axe warrior is probably the most useful warrior (with hammer KD coming in second, I guess.) there isnt all that much variety in the warrior class, is there? Granted, the other classes have more variety, but it wouldnt hurt to have more choices that are viable.

I have suggestions mostly for more items... yeah items that look cooler and not exactly item sets but more item mods... purple has 1 or 2... gold has 3 or 4 and green has like 5-10 (depending on how lucky u get). Armor is pretty basic... physical resistance, elemental resistance and that's pretty much it. Now say armor that drops more gold or armor that is more resistant to a specific kind of creature. And i love how armor also seems to work for the areas past... ie. Henge, the new armor that becomes available to ele's is earth (i think)... great except monsters after the henge never use earth. The area right before it they do... but what's the point? Physical armor design and weapon designs needs to be more extreme. More item varieties need to be put out too (as i said i know GW has limitations). Now say creating items for spell casters (armor or weapons) that add the equivilant of a skill point to a certain type of skill or even a weapon that adds 1, 2 or even 3 to the attribute itself (no hp penalties) and the +3 would have to be a super rare green item. +2 perhaps a rare gold item and +1 a purple. And i hate to say it too, but the level cap also needs to go up i say 10 at least 5... were fightning monsters level 30 at the end of the game... not that 8 on 1 isn't fair in that case but still. Anywho that's my 2 cents respond!
